If you’ve ever been to any Armenian church or home, you’ve definitely smelled khoung burning at least once. Khoung is Armenian for frankincense and it is a vital part of many rituals/traditions we partake in. But it isn’t always the most convenient thing to use; there’s burning charcoal to the right temperature before sprinkling the resin incense on top of the hot coals, then making sure the coals is extinguished and cooled down at the end. All of this takes time and can result in getting your hands dirty and/or your fingertips burnt.

Many customers are satisfied with the unique scent blend of pure essential oils, resins and herbs in our incense; the Armenian Holy Khoung Incense Sticks include biblical oils (frankincense and myrrh) as well as aromatherapy oils (lavender and sage) and it’s a much more practical option for rituals. Simply light the end of the stick for about 10 seconds, blow out the flame, and you’re done. Each stick burns around 85-90 minutes (it can also be extinguished for later use.)

Instructions for use: Light the tip of stick, after few seconds blow out the flame. Then place the stick in an incense holder to catch the falling ashes. It will burn for about 60 minutes. Burn sticks in an incense holder to catch ashes or you can simply stick it in ground during the outdoors. CAUTION: DO NOT LEAVE BURNING INCENSE UNATTENDED! NOTE: THIS SCENT IS NOT EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE RESIN KHOUNG USED IN ARMENIAN CHURCHES, IT HAS MORE BROADER BLENDS OF BIBLICAL OILS.
